Unable to capture

Question

Portion of log file:2012-01-03 09:36:46: ActivePresenter 3.0.1 (Release Build: 2011.11.14) started
2012-01-03 09:36:50: Start capturing. Full motion: true. Capture Size: (800, 600)
2012-01-03 09:36:50: Could not construct shared memory
2012-01-03 09:36:50: Error: Could not start capturing. Please restart application.
If the problem persists please contact us for support.

(also causes explorer to crash)

Start the program up and do a new capture, set the size and the above error pops up.
Win 7 (64Bit)

Hi,

This might be because ActivePresenter was previously crashed and therefore not properly shutted down.

Restart your computer and you should be able to capture again.

machine has been rebooted MULTIPLE times.
Uninstalled, rebooted, installed, rebooted... same problem.

This issue is now fixed in ActivePresenter 3.1

There are also many new enhancements.
