Can't capture audio from a DAW (digital audio workshop) during Full Motion Video Capture.

I'm using Reaper Digital Audio Workshop v 4.10 for music creation and can't capture the audio in the video file capture. ActivePresenter 3.0.1 will not allow any changes to the preferences without crashing i.e. disable active panning. I read on the blog that you should delete the config file, I did, and no work. The errors point that it can't open the audio file in the users file folder. But the file never recorded any audio as it says 0 bytes. Also, the audio section in the preferences does not see any input audio device. I need to capture the audio from the output of the Hi-Definition speakers installed on the system. Other capture programs allow me to do this.

Is it possible in your program to capture the audio from the system audio output at the same time as the video screen capture? I'm using Sys7 64Bit SP1 & onboard Hi-Def BluRay Audio using Wave Out as the profile. PS. ASIO audio drivers cause BSOD.

Updated: Issue solved when update correct audio driver.

Hi,

It is actually a bug which makes ActivePresenter 3.0.1 crashes when saving profile if there is no enabled audio recording device.

To record audio from system (in Windows 7), please select Stereo Mix (or Rec. Playback,..) as input device. If it is not shown in list, please try following steps:

- Right click on Audio icon on the Taskbar

- Select Recording devices from menu

- A Sound dialog will appear, in Recording tab, right click and select Show Disabled Devices from menu.

- Find the Stereo Mix item, right click on and select Enable.

If  Stereo Mix is found and enabled, restart ActivePresenter and choose it as input device. I think you can capture audio from system now.

Hope this help!
